WOYWW - mmm cake

Hello All! A rare this is what was on my workdesk (like 5 min ago) post. First there is the table of indeterminate purpose:

You may be somewhat unsurprised to hear my crafting mojo is taking a break. It did extraordinarily well I am sure you will agree. Monday I spent the whole day wrapping presents (how long does that take - jeees and didn't have half as many as usual with the budget deficit - oh and watching Harry Potter films......  If you luck carefully you may see some Fimo tortoises that my tutee and I made at the end of yesterdays lesson. Today my workdesk moved to the kitchen :)

Here is my little elf helping me make a cake this morning (it is currently in the oven and smells good :
). The jury is still out on his hair between looks like a girl and what lovely curls. Doesn't look like a girl to me and never has!  SO what does my little elf want from Santa, well it went from nothing to all of a sudden, a battery operated turning spaghetti fork. Well I've had a word in Santa's ear and it is looking very hopeful!

Merry Christmas one and all.  I am looking forward most this week to goose and snow topped spice cake. Oh yes and the big reveal from Carmen's secret Santa what a star for organising that she is :) Have a good one and lets see how many of us make it next Wednesday!

Lovely festive post with your cute little elf fella and I love his hair that length. Love his choice of gift and my 4 yr old grandee has asked for a pair of Pretty Kitty gloves and a scooter for her little sister. Nice thy all are not greedy and demanding.
Thanks for following my blog and I think I might really really NEED that spicy cake recipe as it includes all my fave raves. Any chance, please, pretty, please and it will get you an extra entry into my blog candy draw!!

A battery operated spaghetti fork!! I have no idea what I wanted at his age but I can it wasn't that, lol!! I love his curls and he's definitely all boy, no mistake there. Hope you all have a brilliant Christmas.

ooh have images of curls caught in curls - could end in tears,

I cried when Luke's angel curls were cut off ( aged 4) , I agree, they don't ever look like girls, they look like boys with long curly hair...

What a cutie. You'd be amazed at the amount of long haired young boys at the primary school here. Think your little elf is very in fashion at the mo :)

Aw I wish I'd thought of a spaghetti twirling fork my 3 would have loved that - must remember to write it down. Tell your boy he's a genius!

Can't wait for the big reveal either. Am not a star at all - the people that took part are the absolute gems. Have loved it! Thank you!

I would grab that little Elf helper in a minute - too cute! What an adorable picture...seems like yesterday my (kids) little helpers where wanting to do such fun things with me, not anymore. Sadly, they have outgrown that but they help now in different ways! Enjoy! Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas with family and friends and All The Best for a Safe, Happy and Healthy New Year! Thank you for your comments over the last year, I'm so happy you took the time from your busy schedule to visit - Thank You!

Lovely little elf you have there! and his idea of a present sounds fab - would take too long to tell you what mine want! Yes we did have the little snow flurry last week too - great excitement for the 7 year old who has miraclously (sp?) tidied his bedroom this week due to the imminent arrival of Santa! Hope you all have a fabulous Christmas - I am all done now, off out to visit a friend in a bit and then I might make some Tim trees this afternoon - but I dont have too....... whoo hoo.

Hello, just popping in late to say I've really enjoyed visiting your blog, and admiring your handiwork throughout the year. It's been fun getting to know you, virtually that is :) Your little elf looks gorgeous, and so helpful. Enjoy the goose and the snow topped cake - sounds yummy. I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Elizabeth x #46

Wouldn't that be great for the cake to go global. Okienurse has asked for it but I wouldn't pass it on unless you agree so if you want to .... why not send it to her direct.?!?
Thanks again Jo x
