WOYWW - the desk of indeterminate chaos

Good Morning,

Mojo still present and correct.  It is lovely having the 2 days in the week to myself and I have been motivates to carry on with my crafting after I put T to bed. So here is the indeterminate chaos as it stands:

Then there is the sewing projects from the last week.  You will either recognise the character on the bag or wonder what on earth I have made,  I cut the pieces out using felt then used embroidery thread to fix them to the calico - my sons response 'WOW mummy that is AMAZING'!!  The other is my first ever sewing project with a zip (and a pay it forward gift for a blogging friend, she hasn't been on here of late and I don't know if she has received it yet so I hope it doesn't break the surprise......).

Lastly before I leave you to head on over to Julia's via the WOYWW link on the right - going lots of desks and creativity to explore, I finished my houses nesting boxes, I was pleased to get hold of a couple of miniature dolls boots for the chimney :)

Sorry can't get them upright you'll need to twist a little.............

Right have a good week, I'm off to link up and see what you have all been up to since last Wednesday.

CAT BUS .... my Lydia would love that bag, it's one of her favourite characters, and movies - in fact she loves the whole studio that created that movie.

Love your stacking chimneys with the cute little boots sticking out. I have began to try and make mine now and have cut some squares out of a cereal box that's about as far as I have got. I take it the black ones are going to be Wizard of Oz? Yummy!!

Hi there. Just a quick peek around the door this week as time is definitely not on my side! I did want to visit though. I like the boxes, even if I now have a crick in the neck!

Hey there - cool cat bag!! Why the bus though? This is something that has passed me by, obviously!! Well done for persevering with the oil cloth - mine sticks like crazy too so I gently pull it through as I'm sewing. I do use a longer stitch and loosen the top tension slightly. I've learned my lesson the hard way about fiddling with the bobbin tension.....

Hi, found you via Julia's linkys - I couldn't read all of them, so I'm choosing names that catch my eye!
Love the desk - so busy! I forgot to post a photo of my desk, just completed project/work in progress... Next time, I will be good and photograph my mess/desk!
The bag is fab, though I don't recognise the "Cat Bus" character. It looks great though, so I'm not surprised your son was happy.
I LOVE the house/chimney boxes! Just fabulous. The little dollies' boots at the top are an inspiration. What will be inside the boxes, come Advent/Christmas time?

Love the bag although I dont know the character - the nesting boxes are fab! glad you have your mojo here - mine is sort of here but not here, I seem to have some ideas today but am not putting them into action and as its only 1 hour until school run I cant see me achieving them until later! Have a fab week.

Great crafts on show this week! I really hate it too when Blogger insists on turning pictures round. I found you can correct it either in the Picasso page the images are stored on, or you can turn them in Microsofts Picture Viewer, then they show up ok. Running a bit late this week, have a good week, Shaz

Never mind Shaz being late, I am even later due to the computer problems she already knows about (having our machine in her house for a little convalescence).
I do love those boots sticking out of the chimney, they are the perfect finishing embellishment. Isn't it good when your own family actually says they think your work is brilliant?
