'2hours cleaning and tidying, 4 hours tutoring, hour and a half making elves, santa, reindeer sleigh and snowy scene (with help of CBeebies magazine). Now for dinner. Another quiet day at the ranch. Watching Timothy fly a sleigh around shouting 'hee hoo' and 'another blooming Christmas'.............'
It should go on to say ' eat dinner, try and persuade toddler (failed miserably - banned biscuits fed milk instead) to eat some dinner, hang up 2nd load of washing, wash-up, help put toddler to bed, craft for an hour and a half while watching Kate Crane DVD, go to bed, read book for 20 mins then fall fast alseep. Nothing to reveal on my desk this week- all secret santy at the moment (nudge nudge wink wink). The sleigh and accompaniments are visible in the background.......
Sorry I didn't get round to visiting everyone who came to me last week (I will do better this week), and helo to Shaz in Oz :). Durham was beautiful as always - not the visit we had hoped with the Lumiere festival on but we were all delighted by the snow globe in the market square (which is good because it really was all we got to see)
Next to it is the place we stayed in Durham - our favourite drinking place when we lived there (and I was fortunate enough to live on Hallgarth St for 2 of my 3 years. We also spent our wedding night there :) so lots of happy memories. I will stick up a separate post about the image transfer (don't worry Crafty Elf I tend to post on Wednesdays and if I do a different thing I'll give you a heads up on a Wednesday!).
Right I think that is as brief as I can manage. have a good week and I'll see you all next week in December (ha ha ha - how many of you are panicking? - don't go and look at desks instead via Mrs Dunnit and the WOYWW link on the right (like you don't know how to get there already....)

Hi, I'm just doing a quick whizz round a few desks while I eat my breaky and before my little grandees arrive [I've got 4 of them coming this morning now :-) ].
Your life sounds as busy as mine at the mo. :-)
Hugs,

Hi there. Thanks for letting us peek into your creative space this week. It's always inspiring seeing where and how we create! Hope the rest of your week goes very well for you.

What a quaint place. Your life sounds super busy hope you sneak some time in to craft.
Gosh I am worn out with your yesterday schedule! not that mine was much different to be honest though! Dont worry about there being only one snowman advent calendar as he has to compete against the one and only star wars lego advent calendar I have bought - think it will be one have odd days on one and even on the other and vice versa! Have a fabby week.
Wonderful desk I saw the snow globe on the tv I would love to visit the attraction. Have a lovely Wednesday. Laura
Oh My Goodness where do you find the time? I must admit, I clicked on for a better look at your sleigh and I have to say I absolutely love your elves...so darn cute! Hope we get to see the finished product! Thanks for the peek today!
Durham was my favourite place to visit when we lived in Northumberland many moons ago! It still is my favourite cathedral. I love the Galilee chapel where Bede is buried.
Love your sleigh!! If that doesn't say Christmas, I don't know what else could!!
Take some time for yourself in your busy schedule!
Hugs, LLJ #39 xx
You sound a bit like a hamster in a wheel... hopefully you are actually getting somewhere with all that effort though!! Secret stuff on desk... will be back for the reveal!! Annette #11
thanks for sharing a crafty snoop this week...hugs kath xxx
He he nice tablecloth.... not sure what you meant about Black Friday please explain. Cute sleigh love it xx
Oh I love your sleigh and those cute elves! Loved the thought of the nipper yelling "another blooming Christmas!!" Who did he get that from?! I love my home city and miss it lots, I'd agree with that snowglobe too!

aahh with you now.... but as I got 40% off then 25% off that I think that was a good enough bargain after all. When you think of the price they were charging here in UK I am well pleased... also that I could get it at all xx
you must be exhausted, at least you find time to craft (it keeps me sane)
thanks for the peek
janet
your schedule just makes me tired... sounds as though you still got lots done though so that is always a good thing... hope the rest of the week is a little quieter so you get more creative time for play xx
You're right my tooth did give it's all and more!! The little santa draws is reversible, on the other side there's a teddy bear and a clown! It was filled with jelly beans, (long gone!!) Well your desk looks full, loads going on, so I hope we'll get to see them later!!
Have a happy woyww

You have certainly been a busy bee, hope you find time to do some crafting x
You have exhausted me just reading how busy you have been. Oh for a bit of your stamina. Keep going. Hugs, Neet #12
Sounds like you had a busy day. Love the cards on your desk, so cute. :)
Well a bit of the hectic balanced out with a great time away...looks fab - and now back to it! Hope all goes well! Thanks for taking some time to share your desk...Sarah at 14.
Goodness what a list you managed to get through. I'm tired just thinking about making a list of things that need to be done. Like your sleigh can just see it in the picture. Hugs Mrs A.
I have Durham memories too - a good looking Uni student and me....and that's enought to be telling! Your daily detail is exhaustng enough..had forgotten about persauding littlies to eat...sometimes it's just exhausting! See you in December..by when of course, we'll all be nearly ready. Cough.
secrets - shhhhhh-
I have to keep checking and hiding stuff, and then thinking - but they will never know it is intended for them will they???? until they open it?
ha ha ha

Had to come for a snoop when I saw Durham metioned on Butlers Abroad (I live about 20 mins from there). Glad to see your life is about as hectic as mine! Oh and yes to Father Christmas and the Snowman (our annual christmas ritual). We are taking our 4year old to see the snowman at the sage this year for the first time. Debated going to lumiere but decided against it as didn't fancy the cobbled streets of Durham in the dark and fog with a 4 year old and a 1 year old with pushchair! Thanks for sharing - your elves and the sleigh look fab!
We visited Durham when my schoolfriend lived in N. Yorks - beautiful city! Her daughter lived in Darlington for a while but now she lives near Durham. Lovely part of the world! I miss our visits since my friend moved south. Busy and creative looking table! You sound very busy with all your commitments! Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #70
Goosh, I was just exhausted reading the first part of your schedule. I'm told that Durham is lovely but I've yet to visit - will put it on the bucket list ;) Have a great, although perhaps less hectic, week. Elizabeth x #81
Durham sounds great. We were only saying recently we should visit, it's not that far from us!!
You sound to be a very busy bee and I love the crafting going on in the middle of daily life just as it should be.
Happy WOYWW
