WOYWW An indeterminate table of most determinate purpose

Good morning everyone, Hello to all the lovely new people who are following! To anyone who hasn't come through the hallowed portals (sorry for any dodgy imagery if you are here at an early hour) of our hostess Julia Dunnit then press the WOYWW link on the right hand side to enter a whole new world of time disappearing in a cloud of friends, genius and well desks really.

Life here is feeling more optimistic.  My PIF gifts are all done and distributed, we have accepted a different offer on the flat and this time it is an investor wants to complete in 28 days (come on world give us a break on this one).  Last but not least the creative juices are still flowing strong so without further ado (sorry Doone) I give you my desk today:

The bags are a work in progress, 3 to be precise and the one that is finished is hidden behind the mug of tea......... I have been a playing with my stamps this week thought I'd have a go at a last minute entry to Craft Stamper - more later,  The cakes in the background were a joint collaboration between myself and my 3 year old he did the egg cracking, egg mixing, flour adding and the icing decoration!

Oh and for those of you who were wondering about the black nesting boxes - some dodgy photo's.......... Still on their side............ I tried emailing Di but don't know if it got though? We're off to see the wizard.........

I went for a tornado with barn, fence and rainbow (you can see some of it in the photo.........

Happy autumn day all :)

Great boxes, like the tornado idea!! And three bags - way to go. Are they going to be Christmas presents? I notice you've got your iron to hand. Until I started sewing again last year, I didn't realise how much constant re-ironing of the project as you go along helps so much with the actual construction of the pieces. My ironing board is now up all the time - and as a confirmed ironing-hater before, I have rediscovered the joys of flat material - LOL!!!
Fingers crossed for your apartment sale, sounds positive this time....
Hugs, LLJ #41 xx

Hi, Thanks for visiting. Lots of useful stuff on your work table. Specially like those boxes. Are they for a special purpose? Yes, craft supplies, like those punches you see on my desk are pretty expensive here too, and, yes, my friend brought them back from the States. I only met her twice when she lived here in Sydney temporarily (she is now back in Western Australia), and we got on really well, but that little box of goodies arriving in the mail today was a lovely surprise!

Very creative, looks like your cupcakes turned out well, hope you both had fun making them.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you with the flat sale, you definitely deserve a break and some good luck :)

fantastico desk and jolly good luck with the sale of the flat and the competition submission.

worry not regarding my gypsy travel plans - I will remain ever present in virtual world of tinterweb and email, and it is a long, not short term plan,

to retain sanity and so as not to quite cut off apron strings (despite all appearances I do feel a kind of love and attachment to my offspring) one stipulation is seamless internet connection from day one habitation, and no permanent continental europe occupation allowed until all enfants are hommes:

so picture this - 2015 - i'm in a tent pitched within the walls of the roofless ruin typing my woyww missives...in franglais, never accuse me of odd priorities!

I just know i can cope with most things if I have tinterweb support people to tell me:

a) get a grip
b) this is what you both wanted
c) we don't want you back so make it work there...

Glad things are better for you this week and the mojo is still visiting! Nice busy desk there I see - are you going for Stamper of the Year?

A very busy desk, those cakes look fab =)

Thanks for stopping by! Freezer paper is used by a butcher to wrap meat, it is plain paper on one side and one side has a wax-like coating so things don't stick to it. Here it is available in most large grocery stores.

You are so busy, and trying to sell a flat too - WOW! Are you living in the flat and does it mean you have to pack up all your crafting stuff. I would have nightmares for weeks if I had to do that. Good luck and hope all goes well for you.

Here's to good luck on finally selling your flat. I can't imagine having to sell a home and try to craft at your kitchen table. No wonder you asked about my microwave. The basement studio's microwave is used for crafting and dyeing fabric. The one upstairs is for cooking. I suspect I could use the one in the basement for both, but never have. Thanks for stopping by this week and asking your question. Happy WOYWW.

I wish you speed and progress without inhibition of the flat sale, really, what a stress.
Your desk is perfect - baking, fabric, paper, paint - just what a mummy crafter desk should be..this desk shot is one for your album!

Oh good grief, if its not one thing its another, don't know whether to wish you well with the sale or not!
Love the boxes! even if I had to lie down to see them lol, and baking is always worth the mess, well to little ones anyway!! Mine were forever baking cakes and biscuits, and still do, but I have never told them my secret recipe for fruity Flap Jacks!!!
