It is a canvas of blankness awaiting opportunity and time. There are all the lovely fabrics I washed the other week - but look I now have the threads and some extra bobbins so I can start bag crafting. Then there are a couple of my other Christmas projects - clear plastic baubles and a puzzle maker. Next to that there are some glass painting pens for another idea in my head. Then lastly are the 3 nesting boxes that I made the last couple of nights - based on an idea over on the graphic 45 website from a project that Laura Denison did. They are blank canvases too waiting to be created on - was looking at my pile of Lavinia Stamps for inspiration (and to see which other ones I really really need want!). Starting next Monday I have a run of 3 or 4 weeks where I won't be tutoring (due to late holidays) and Timothy is in nursery I am hoping to be a hive of activity for 2 days a week.
So how are you anyway? Want to see lots of exciting desks - hop on over to Julia's place (vis the WOYWW widget on the right and discover a desk or 2 or 150 that are waiting for a good nose. Now put the kettle on I am looking for distractions.........

I love that table cloth,
whilst your news is not at all brilliant, it is so good to know that you are holding your own and finding time to be creative,
I would like to make you a journal of indeterminate purpose Mrs Womble, but shall require your patience since i am traveling about for most of October. So I would like you to nag me in November for I shall surely forget and think I have already done it unless you prompt me...

Hi there. Bit of a flying visit from me today i'm afraid but I did want to pop on in. Thanks for sharing your creative space with us this week. Sorry that you have a difficult time but hope that all goes well and that the next news is good news!
So sorry to hear that you're having a tough time of it familywise at the moment - will be thinking of you and hoping it all comes out in the wash.
Intriguing indeterminate desk this week!
Sounds like a difficult time - hope you are ok and that everything works out fine. Have fun crafting if you can - I see you like Stampeezee - shame Debbie has shut her doors isnt it.
Sounds like a very frustrating week. I feel for you. I got a late start because I fell asleep before I could link up with Julia. I'm 42 this week, not even in the top 10!
There's something so inviting about blank canvases and lovely supplies!
Lots of luck with the flat, hope it all works out for you soon - then you can relax and play with all these goodies!
Thanks for the info - good detective work! I tried to leave a comment this morning but blogger wasn't playing! Fingers crossed now xx
Whew... I'm worn out reading all that's going on for you so what's it like for you? Slow down , take five, relax and chill, you really need it! I really hope your cousin gets through this ok and that your place sells successfully.
Lots of love JoZarty x
hope you get some good news soon.
bag making...ooo exciting, can't wait to see what you make.
A table of indeterminate purpose. I feel a novel in there somewhere! Like your tablecloth, and those Lavinia's - yummy.
Hoping with your for positive news from the hospital.
Ohhh sounds like you have a lot happening around you at the moment. Hope your family member improves and you get some good news.
I hope you can keep positive with your troubles. My mother had a brain haemorrhage about 20 years ago, and recovered remarkably well, and only died a couple of years ago. Keep talking to them about anything they particularly love - they can hear you. Mum was just determined to get back to her beloved garden. She amazed the hospital staff by the speed of her recovery. Look after yourselves too, and keep well for your cousin.
Colorful table !
hope your family get some positive news soon xxxxxxx
I am sorry to hear of your cousin. I send all my best thoughts and wishes your way.
At least the crafting may keep your mind occupied while you wait.
If you feel up to it I am having a giveaway and you are invited to come enter.
Take care!
xoxo Karen
What sad news about your cousin, it's no wonder you need some distraction! I hope you will get some good news soon!

Apologies for being so late in visiting but I really wanted to pop in and see what you were up to last week. I wish your cousin a speedy recovery. Hopefully I will get around much quicker tomorrow. Elizabeth x #73
